24/7 street parking is a bad idea, that's what it has turned into so far.
On Rickson Ave. where you have city and soon school buses trying to fit between car's is just not safe, add regular traffic and children walking and playing ,well you're asking for trouble.
As far as student rental houses needing parking or street parking for there numerous parties, isn't there a by law that states how many rental houses you can have in a given area?
There's a bus stop near by,surely these "Green Kids" can take the bus or walk .I have one suggestion,
No Parking on any street from 8.00am-6.00pm,which will keep the streets open, clear and safe during the day when most streets are busy. Also do like most other towns,MAX 3 hour parking limit

Visual blight.

Danger for children.

Slows emergency vehicles.

Provides incentive for MORE cars in the neighborhood--- free parking!!

Taxpayers (city) provides free parking for people who are 'over-carred' for their residence. It's not up the the city---be responsible for finding a home for YOUR car.

Downsides far outweigh the upside. Pls kill this idea soon.
